Restoring Items

Introduction:
Unfortunately, we are unable to restore items lost due to lag or connection dropping. If the problem is not on our end, we will not restore anything you lost. The only time we will replace items because of lag or connection dropping is in the event that the majority of players connected at the time report connection difficulties, which would indicate a game-wide issue taking place, or if we know for sure the items were lost because of something on our end.

Situations when items may be replaced:
* Proven bugs.
* Server crash.
* If server issues obvious to the hosts have occured and have not been announced.
* If the majority (Note: By majority we mean 50-70%) of connected players are experiencing connection difficulties. HOWEVER, if we announce that lag is taking place and there is nothing we can do about it, you should take this as an indication that you should not be doing anything dangerous. We will not replace any losses during periods of announced difficulty.

When items WILL NOT be replaced:
* You get disconnected. This could be a client issue, an ISP issue, or an issue of any of number of hops along the path from your computer to the computer Miriani is hosted on.
* You are lagging. Again, this could be attributed to a number of issues listed above.
* When you lost the items as a consequence of an IC action.

Final Words:
What is replaceable and what is not replaceable is at the discretion of the host in question. Please do not assist about replacing an item if your situation does not fit into the "situations when items may be replaced" category above.
