Stances
Syntax:
STANCE
STANCE HELP
STANCE <new stance>
Description:
Your stance is, essentially, the way you're choosing to fight. When typed alone, the STANCE command tells you your current stance. If you wish to change your stance, you simply type STANCE <name of new stance> and it will change it. Additionally, you can type a number to indicate which stance you're choosing from the list. When you switch your stance, you will be given a small amount of roundtime as you make the switch. Keep this in mind when you're changing stance during combat.
The finaly argument to the stance command is help. If you type STANCE HELP you will be given a list of all of the stances available to you as well as a small description of how the stance benefits you.
Available Stances:
You should always type STANCE HELP to see all of the stances available to you, but it's safe to assume that the following three stances will always be first:
Offensive: A more aggressive stance that provides a benefit to attack and a penalty to defense.
Neutral: A neutral stance that provides no benefits and no penalties.
Defensive: A defensive stance that provides a penalty to attack and a benefit to defense.
